Aitch Group’s design had to take in to account being surrounded on three sides and therefore lent itself to a courtyard development up to seven storeys with five commercial units at the ground floor. Negotiations were successfully concluded with Toynbee HA, a major social housing provider who carried out a mixed tenure proposal of mainly shared ownership and affordable rent with a small element of five units for outright sale. Not only a successful land transaction, Aitch Group also carried out the construction works on behalf of Toynbee HA, which was completed on time and within budget.
